Forgive my ignorance....

If you're located in Wasaga, what is the attraction of fishing Muskoka/Rosseau or whatever instead of Simcoe?
Please enlighten me....as my friend Burnzy who lives south of Lake Simcoe likes to do the same.

What am I overlooking????? Throw me a bone!

The way I look at it. It's way less crowded. Simcoe is an hour away from 3 million people. Parking becoming a huge issue.Muskoka is much more scenic. From wasaga and area it's not that far of a drive really. Lakers in muskoka are way tastier than the huge ones you get on simcoe. Just my take on it.

Went there today. It had 4-6" of black and another 1 or 2 of white. We just saw 2 other fishers who came there around 3----no skidoo noise, no ATV noise, no gas augers sputtering to life Has that ever happened on Simcoe?

I hit Virginia Beach on Sunday and got 26 keeper perch. Most damage done on the slabgrabber SimcoeSlayer. Sight fishing was fun to keep the drinks off but takes its toll on the back . Off to Beaver did Saturday it with hopes of some slobs
