This is a very tasty way to eat venison.

I put the roast in a freezer bag. To this I add teriyaki sauce not a lot but enough that you can turn the roast over and cover the bottom side. To this I add garlic power and montreal steak spice. Let it sit for 3 to 4 hours rotating once and awhile.

Take out of bag and pat dry. put lots of garlic power and montreal steak spice on it and rub over the whole roast

Get smoker up to 215 to 220F, I use a Bradley smoker so once the smoker is up to temp I put enough pucks in to smoke about 3hrs. I put a temp prob in the meat and anther in the smoker. I keep temp in the 215 to 220 range. When the meat gets to 150F no more than 155 I take out and tent with tin foil for 10min or more. This takes about 4 to 5 hours to get to the 150ish range, depending on the size and cut.

Cut in thin slices and serve with your preferred veggies. can just about cut with a fork. With what is left, I put in freezer bag and take north with me to my buddies place when I come up to hunt or fish. I is amazing cold in sandwich.
