Hey everyone! I spent my weekend in lindsay fishing the scugog river. Fished all weekend and caught tons of fish! i started fishing carp and got 3 fish, plus my new PB . One of them was 10 pounds, the other was 21 pounds, and my new best 32 pounds and 9 ounces when carp fishing was slow i went into the locks and tried some fly fishing. caught tons of nice bluegill one after another on many different fly patterns. the prince nymph worked really well but i tried some grasshopper patterns and caught lots . i even got a few crappie as well . It was funny watching the bluegill nail the dry flies i will post pics with it

Great post and pictures. Congrats on the PB Never fished for carp before but it looks like fun and nice size fish. I also have never fly fished before but would like to learn some day.

That's great! Looks n sounds like you had fun. Were you still fishing for the carp? I don't have the patience for still fishn anymore. I've had carp hit my jig once and a Texas rigged worm. Those were just coincidental of course. Well thnx for the report. Happy fishn!

I was using an ambassadeur reel and one of my bass crankbait rods. I was using berkley 14 pound high-vis orange line attached to a barrel swivel to a 10 pound leader to the hook. i was just fishing with regular corn too. i would turn on the clicker on my reel and put it on free spool so i could tell when a fish was moving. i will try to upload more pictures once I take them off my phone. Thanks guys
