With heavy rain in the forecast on next Monday Tuesday, follow by 3 very cold days which can make great amount of good ice. Should be ready soon I guess. Fingers crossed.

Hey folks,
I have had a cottage on scugog for many years off washburn. Never have I ice fished this lake for many reasons but this year I figured I would give it a shot as a few of my platoon partners are looking for a boys trip just to have some fun.
I was hoping maybe someone would be interested in giving some information on average depth people are looking at for crappie in the winter?
I have a few spots that I marked for this year for a little trial and error runs around 6-10 feet near the cottage.
Any help would be much appreciated! PMS are welcome
