Check the stocking lists for Haliburton , Sudbury and north east and west ontario , they show how many stocked and when ... best of luck ..post your results ..

Fish for them in 4 to 22 ft of water. Look for timber or rocks. Small white tubes and live minnows worked best for me. When they are on you catch double digits. When they are off, you skunk.

have got them on small spoons also. a sonar will be a big help. the harder the lake is to get to, the better the fishing typically lol. but i guess that could be said about all fishing not just splake lakes
