My wife and I were there today----not fishing. There were lots of fish moving up the ladder and lots down in the pool. Those moving up the ladder all looked quite small, at least from the bridge, and quite close in size. I would guess the size of 'jacks' Could they possibly be suckers?

Th, folks
I know nothing about pinks. I thought they were rare in GB. I have been to the ladder quite a few times and usually see 2-3 fairly big fish hanging around near the top of the ladder. Rarely, if ever, have I seen them actually jump to the next step. Maybe the flow was perfect this time as quite a few were progressing up the ladder as well as entering from the pool. Qyuie a few fishers but saw none being caught. (BTW---the ladder is one of our stops when we have visitors and decide to show them a bit of the GB shoreline )

Typically they are but some rivers off g bay still get strong runs of em every few years. I know up north there are good numbers of them running yearly, it's weird seeing them out of the bay for sure though, I've never seen one in person even.
