> Cottage, before long weekend

WE headed up to open our cottage and had mostly cool days and nights until the day before we left

good part was all was okay with our place and just so great to be there briefly again

as well the bugs were around but not biting until the last evening and out in full force the morning of our departure

just relaxed after all the work was done and got out a couple of times...surface temp was 52 when we got there and 61 when we left

all the action came in less than 10 feet down flatlining


saw my eagles and had some other visitors as well

was shocked to see lake levels 3 feet below normal spring levels

Nice fish. I love when the water looks like glass, day or night. Then a fish hits, and the mirror finish on the water turns into an adrenaline rush.
