Hey guys Iím heading up to the French River with my family Saturday morning, anyone know any decent places on the 400 to stop and grab some worms? We usually stop at the petro Canada/ licks truck stop in parry sound, donít know if they sell them there? We stopped in point au Barill last year and got bent over so trying to avoid that lol. Been a while since I posted, hopefully weíll run into some fish worth talking about!

The Parry Sound Canadian Tire sells them and of course Pointe Au Baril as well.

Good Luck.

I think maybe crappy tire will be the destination thank you! A couple of years ago I brought my own worms and didnít have the best of luck keeping them, donít know why because Iíve done it many times. If I have time maybe Iíll go on a pick but weíll see. I canít believe how much they charge for the damn things now, itís unreal. Looking forward to finally doing some fishing either way!

Well I ended up picking my own worms, couldnít say no to that once I saw how many were out Friday night and they worked out great this time. Didnít do a ton of fishing but got out a few times, everyone had fun and we ended up with a fish fry of bass so at the end of the day had a great trip. Went out solo with my downrigger one evening as well to see what would happen but no luck. Anyone else fish the area between recollete falls and flowerpot bay? Fishing was definitely tough this year.
