Had the chance o head to cottage for a few days and hit all kinds of weather from a daytime high of 15 to 27 degrees over a few days, also an epic rainfall
for the most part weather was great with cool mornings and sunny aftenoons
the fishing was on most days and super hot just before the storm and after as well
Ned rigs and topwaters in evening were my go to
Can't wait to get back
enjoy the pics......even though they look like many from before
oh ya, I did not bother trying for lake trout on this trip...next time

change of pace ....went and got enough of these guys for a great meal
How does rock bass taste. I catch huge rock bass at night on balsam when I am fishing for walleye and crappie. I have never ate one though. Is it a strong fishy taste, or is it close to walleye and crappie.
