Last night went out just before dark. Almost to windy to enjoy fishing. Then the thunder and lightning came but only a few drops of rain. The dry storm left and the wind eased and the fish were hungry. Did not think there would be much action. Slow retrieve quick retrieve didn't matter fish were hitting everything in 8 feet of water or 1 foot right at the shoreline. Bass crappie walleye rock bass bluegill fish were still biting when I left at 7.30am this morning. Caught a bunch of crappie and walleye almost all keepers but only kept two of each. All the bass were small jumpers and kept me busy between the crappie and walleye. Here is a couple pictures. Going back out in an hour. Cold front came in should be fun it's going down to 1 degree tonight.

Nice work Crappeeeman. Looks like things are shaping up to be good fall fishing and hope the water temps keep dropping. You never know what to expect when the weather changes. I am starting a weeks holidays heading up today (Friday) to Balsam so hope the fish show there faces. Looks like some rain to start but the rest looks good if the winds stay down. Good luck out there and stay safe

Well done on the multi species. Looks like a great combo deal for dinner.
The two walleye from Wednesday and the big one from Thursday is what we put on the BBQ on Friday, and it turned out great. The crappie and bass in the freezer for whenever they want fish for dinner. Good thing is, I had my limit of 3 walleye and now I have none, so now I can go walleye fishing again in just over a week. Hopefully they eat some of those bass before I get back up there. That way I can fish for those as well. We had a prime rib roast I picked up at the store on Saturday. Put it on the BBQ for dinner before we drove home. I wish I could catch my limit of cows. LOL. I love eating crappie and walleye but rib steaks or roasts, or prime rib steaks or roasts are my favourite. I could eat them three or four times a week.
