One walleye - shy of a keeper, so will fight another day.

One nice jumbo perch, with a story. Shack-made firewood and duct tape tip-up with a flyswatter flag actually worked. By the time we got from nice warm hut to outside hole 50 yards away, the tip-up was back down again. Check minnow, no damage. Back down the he and back to the wood stove. Tip-up didn't tip the second time apparently. Half hour later, went to pack up the tip-up and there she was - a bit the worse for wear - three bloody marks down the side in a row about a half inch spacing. I figure it maybe tangled with a musky. Fillet on one side had three perforations about an eighth inch long. Tasted good though... cast iron pan, butter, lemon, salt pepper.... scotch.

There seems to be little to no operators on the west arm, how many huts are out there in the region?
