When I check the waves on windfinder, I see wind direction, wave height and then I see 1s/2s/3s etc. Can someone clarify what the 1s/2s/3s mean. Thanks

It's the number of seconds between wave crests (or troughs). Generally, waves get taller, the time period between waves is longer.

Yes, waves closer together are easier to handle when the height is low.

When the waves are high you prefer them.spaced out, is like a tall rolling waves.

When BOTH are high it is very dangerous.

As always, depends on your boat and experience.

I have the Windfinder app and I also check the website and I don't see the seconds you mentioned. Can you post a screen shot, please?
Thanks!
