Great start to a new season

Beautiful fish man! I got into some brookies, wanted to hit a rainbow spot but a police officer told me to go back to my region unfortunately

I went for Steelhead with my Dad and daughter.

Don’t know how many more we all can got together so it’s so special when we can.

Fishing was great. My Daughter hooked and landed several Steelhead. My Dad had a rough day for hits but managed one really nice brown and lost a couple of Steelhead.
I had the hot hand. I hit 6 fish in my first 6 drifts. I then put my rod down to watch my Daughter and Dad. I would watch for 15-20 mins pic up my rod and hit another. This happened all morning and became comical to all of us.
At one point I lit a fire and cooked everyone a shore lunch. After eating they both drifted a rested pool for 20 mins. At that point I hadn’t drifted for an hour so in I went. About 6 drifts in wham another fish. I hooked well over 20 fish before 11:00 am. We packed it in after that and high fived another end to an awesome opener.

One for the books, memories to last a lifetime. Love those days when you can't seem to do anything wrong

Thx man, one of my biggest natural specks for sure. Early bird gets the worm! especially around this area with lots of pressure on opener. Making the call on what spot to hit first is crucial.
