Mustang is the only manufacture making cdn approved floatation suits. Salus and helly Hansen no longer makes a 1 price float suits. For non approved nothing beats a Striker.
I Have Icerider made by Mustang ( and it is top of the line) and the sticker inside clearly says it is not currently Transport Canada or US Coast Guard approved.
Otherwise I think it is one of the best and comfortable suit out there for riding snowmobile and ATV on the Ice.

Well Cabela's Black Friday sale starts tomorrow, and they have $50 off the Mustang suit, so I am kinda convinced. Plus I have a $100 gift card to use.
Think I am going to get the Mustang. I think I'd be a medium (5'6" - 170 lbs) Have to get online though, I don't want to drive all the way to Barrie (plus I don't think they have my size in stock)
Anyone have anything else to offer before I purchase?

Which one is the best is the original question? The one you wear and brings you home. Whether it’s my “cheap a float” or a $triker. Whatever keeps us safe. That being said I like the 2 pc. It allowed me to take off the coat but still have the bibs, just in case while being comfortable.
