I Have Icerider made by Mustang
( and it is top of the line) and the sticker inside clearly says it is not currently Transport Canada or US Coast Guard approved.

Otherwise I think it is one of the best and comfortable suit out there for riding snowmobile and ATV on the Ice.

Just because it's not approved doesn't mean it floats any worse, just that they didn't go through the certification.

No, The one I have (MUSTANG Catalyst Flotation Coat, shown above: Model/Style: MC5445) is just the top. No pants.

Plus I have a $100 gift card to use. Think I am going to get the Mustang. I think I'd be a medium (5'6" - 170 lbs) Have to get online though, I don't want to drive all the way to Barrie (plus I don't think they have my size in stock) Anyone have anything else to offer before I purchase? I appreciate everyone's input! GRW

Whether it’s my “cheap a float” or a $triker. Whatever keeps us safe. That being said I like the 2 pc. It allowed me to take off the coat but still have the bibs, just in case while being comfortable. Dave

Exactly....i wouldn't put any more trust in something because it's been approved by a useless government agency...go with whatever is most comfortable
