Hello All

Spent a few hours on scugog yesterday. As I was fishing down some rows of docks I saw this big girl out for a swim on a shallow bank. Took some work to make her bite. Digital scale read 6lbs 2oz.

The largie was a little bettter then 3.5 lbs, had a few like that.

I saw a lot of fish roaming. My thought is post spawn and the bass have not set up just yet. But the big fish are starting to come around.

6 inch Googan Baits lunker log, senko type stick bait.... Wacky rigged with an O-ring. #2 circle hook, 30lb braid. 7ft 4inch meduim heavy flipping stick... Not your traditional smalie set-up. This is my set-up for dock skipping.

Nice one indeed! I remember when I fished tournaments about 20 years ago, that lake always had a couple teams every tournament that brought in monster smallmouth.
