Simcoe is just a big crap show, its a miserable lake and it’s dying… very unfortunate but the lake trout are few and far between and there are a few of us people who don’t like fishing for bottom feeders with 50 other guys on the same shoal. Simcoe was once a Great Lake but these days it’s a nightmare in my opinion… lakes like Ross and muskoka are much nicer but even they are quite busy.

Here are 2 “lunkers” I managed to fit thru the hole while fishing with Knuguy and MK. WAY bigger than Harold’s…😁

Thanks for the responses.

I can't say I'm in full agreement as we usually do very well on Simcoe and wonder if the distaste for it stems from the rate of personal success. I know for a fact if I go to WB/JP I will catch WF.....but if I go to Oro 2 side, I have never caught one and can understand the lack of interest you guys have in returning as I feel the same way in that sense.
Anyways, I appreciate the input, and will try to get up to your paradise to test the waters so to speak.

Thanks. 😁

That is 1 of the reasons. Went for lakers a couple of times---not a single sniff.

Many other reasons though. Peace and quiet, scenery
