On the water 7 am and lines down fishing 54 fow. .

England already on the board with first fish of the day ..

A 2 inch goby on a 4 inch shoehorn spoon..

LOL

That's usually the result when I go fishing. The bait is larger than the catch .

Just got back, drive home was nuts! But well worth it.. What a day and lots of fun!

I still can't believe I had 2 fish on one line, the laker was going one way and salmon the other, right at the boat net ready, I see the salmon break off the cheater and steal my favorite spoon...

YES Ralph has some fish to smoke now...

I am very happy I brought some luck and fish were landed...

Great day, with great company and great times as always......

Yes, great day, great company and great times!! Perfect day to be out there.

Jerry, thanks for joining me.

I've fished a lot of years, and I've only seen the "true doubleheader" once before. That was when I was fishing Lake Joe with a friend and I had a 2lb laker on the bottom spoon and a 2lb bass on he upper spoon. Unlike Jerry I landed both.

The 2 salmon and the rainbow have all been filleted and are in the dry cure to be smoked into "Indian Candy" tomorrow.
