Got out today to enjoy the amazing weather on one of my work buddys boats. My son, him and me spent most of the day out there. We went to some known spots first thing and had a triple header within 5 minutes of getting our lines wet. We ended up going 6 - 8, started to feel bad we were hammering on them so hard and decided to scout out some new areas and just enjoy the day cruising around. I kept 2 and he kept 2. We let the big girls go and just "tried" to take some nice photos of them which I will include below.

This one we estimated about 7-8 pounds

This one was probably close to 6-7 pounds

Might be doing ok in the fishing department but our photography skills sure need some work!

Nicely done. I hear it was a tough go for a lot of guys today. What were the water temps where you were?

Surface temps were 34.5 at 10:30 am and peaked to around 36 by 3:30pm. No fish hawk so I couldnt tell you how warm it was down lower.

Hey Jamie

Nicely done. Makes me think I should start "unwinterizing" my boat.

With days like we had this weekend and potentially more in the near future forecast I would be unwinterizing your boat 100%!
