I managed to find some good ice a ways down a snowy logging road. it was great to be back on ice again, and it was a bonus to actually see a few fish.
There was a range from maybe 2.5 - 4.5" of ice, but also a bit of open water in the middle. It was -20C overnight so I'd imagine there will be more ice today.
