My daughter & husband has just purchased a cottage in the Honey Harbour area. I'm not familiar with the general fishing in and around the Honey Harbour area. I usually fish the French River & Kawartha Lakes.

My question is "are Walleye a target species for that general area OR are just lucky if you happen to catch one?

Thx,

Beautiful area. But only fished it once. You might get more replies in the Georgian Bay section of the board. My impression is that walleye are pretty tough around that general area, may except at particular times of year at particular places.

Hey dBfish... that's perfect. Don't want areas, just knowing they are there is perfect.
The fun will be finding them myself.

Thanks
