I drove back from the Sault today (thru the forest fire smoke at the French River) and notice the Spanish River.
While it looked nice from Hwy 69, I wondered if there are launch ramps or camping areas on the Georgian Bay side of Hwy #69?
What is the fishing like in the Spanish River? What species of fish?

Thanks,

The Spanish has some fantastic fishing. Same species that you'll find in the French. Theres a marina next to Vances Resort with a nice ramp. I stayed at Vances on the opener a few years back. Got up there on the Friday morning, and by dinner time I was playing a game called "What won't the Walleye eat?" There are Pike too, thick as thieves. Channel Cats too...
