Well the ice season is slowly coming to an end ..time to put away the ice gear and start tuning up the summer gear ..looking forward to the worm weather .beautiful sun sets and hopefully lots of Fish .....who else is geting excited

Oh yah.. We were talking about taking the boat out today and going after some Drum/Sheephead... Quote from the wife.. You ###### what are we going to pull it with..lol.. We just got a new vehicle and I keep forgetting there's no hitch on it yet 🤔.. But yes so pumped for the soft water season...

Yup, going to call tomorrow to make appointment to take boat in for service, but not till week after. Still some freezing nights to come, but only a couple.

Must think positively. Must think positively. I almost thought that last season as well. Was a slow developing spring on the lake. I could still see ice piled up on the eastern shore of the Manitou's just a few days prior to the opener last year. The LNSA never did get in a walleye egg collection at Wasi in 2018...slow thaw, low water levels as I recall. Walleye were still spawning under our dock the Friday night of the opener...surface water temps in our bay were still in the 6-7C range. But it turned out good that opening weekend, at least in the South Bay Area. Come on spring/summer weather pattern.
