> Lower French river, Hows the bite?

Wondering if anyone has been fishing the lower French and how the bite is? Ill be going up next week trying to get prepared.

Not sure, but be prepared to handle currents & high water levels.

I was up last weekend, water is easily 4 to 5 ft higher than Ive ever seen it.

Fishing was fantastic for me. 150 eyes over 3 days. Most of them were cookie cutter 15-16'' with the occasional 20'' into the mix.

water is fast, the key was to find the slack water adjacent to current and wait

Thanks for the reports guys!! Curious to see how high the water is. Last time I was up there during high water the fishing was in fire hopefully we get a repeat!!! Ill post reports when I get back on the 10th
