Ok, so I measured a good solid 9” of ice today in callandar bay in the band of huts. Saw a 1/2 chevy go out. Maybe thicker towards shore with refrozen ice . Vehicles starting to park on the waters edge.

Great news to hear that guys are starting to be able to park near shore. That sure makes parking a lot less stressful. Anyone know if guys are doing the same at Deep Water Point?

Fished west side of Calendar Bay Saturday, 2pm to 6 pm. 20 FOW, 7 inches black ice and 2 inches white on top. Caught 10 pickerel, one slot size the rest between 12 and 16 inches. My daughters smile posing with her fish made my day.

How far is the walk out of callandar bay? I'd like to make a day trip and don't mind a hike out but the length will dictate how much gear I pack

imo you'd be better to walk off deep water point.

Is there a place to park there? I'm not too familiar with the lake, only been there once staying with south River resort
