Well this morning was foggy as you can see in my video with moisture all over the lens on the way into the lake and the humid air made it even hotter in the canoe but it paid off the brook trout were hungry.

Nice catch for August or any other time of year !!!! I never thought it possible to catch specks in midsummer but you certainly make it look easy. Well done! Great info also, Im going to try it in my area.

Key tip is water temp find the sweet spot and you will find the fish !!!

Nice going Curt. Were you running a keel weight with the gangtroll to get it down? Last week I found 54f at 18ft but the brookies had a case of lockjaw.

I run a 1 oz weight with the troll the style of lake troll i use also has weight on it so i estimate i am running 1.5 oz of weight in total.

Ah, the Master at it again....well done as always

just as aside, my last cottage outing surprised me as to where I got lake trout and on what. will post soon . I can say this, it certainly tosses out temps and daytime feeding much to my surprise

anyway, will look forward to your next report.
