Hello all,

Caught many lakers in Lake Joe during Ice Fishing season but wondering if you can catch Pikes and Walleyes also.

To answer kato’s question, I have only caught ling and trout but probably due to depth. To sparky, if I get up there this year I will pm you. I have a few spots that have been good to me.

Dave.

The tricky part,of course, is planning with the winter weather. We rarely know much in advance whether the trip is a 'go'or not. But let's give it a try.

You can get walleye, but I wouldn't go there to target them specifically. Maybe after you get a trout limit move shallow and find a hump if it's early in the day. Only seen one little 10" walleye come out of Joe through the ice. Was caught by a 3yd old lol. Pike will be shallower so probably why people don't catch them often or at all.

Sparky i'll trade you a day on Joe for a day brookie fishing up your way! I know a spot on Joe that is awesome but you need a sled or have climb a 50ft embankment with 3-4ft of snow....

Mack
