Packed up the ice fishing gear., Time for the soft water!

Got out for our first trip on the boat this season. Managed to grab one and get home in time for dinner. Looked like it was already spawned out and we released it so hopefully it can do it again next year.

We zipped around and checked out all over the place. People were skiing on the hills around here, ice was built up really heavy one the shore lines. Was a great evening out on the water for sure! Last year we went out for the first time on the boat and the next trip out was on the yak in 34 degree water which I fell into and lost my phone, going to try and break that tradition this year

Is georgian bay opened up in parry sound where the cost guard is situated. Wondering if the ice is gone there.
