Hey folks, I've been documenting the ice melt with my new little drone. I'm at the whims of the weather conditions but I'll try to post the drone vids as regularly as I can. Here's the video I shot yesterday in my area. It is stunning to see the ice pack that formed before the final crusting slowly melt away.

Here's the video I shot on April 1st. I actually came across a deer carcass on the ice while filming.

Very good videos. I hope that, with he ice starting to break up and the winds from this storm system, the folks up there don't have to deal with another ice tsunam like this one!!

I would say unofficially yes. A boat went by at speed yesterday. The last clear satellite shot did show some pockets of ice out in the main body but it should be gone by now.
