We were on the water and fishing before 7:30.
Went out to 100 fow and started trolling North. Nice calm but hazy day.
we didn't mark much and turned back and ran a long way South.
We were trying Lymans, Shoehorn spoons, Herring Cut bait and other spoons as well as agitator flashers. Nothing working.
We were marking fish and bait but just no action.
About 11:00AM Phil's rod fires and we land a nice 5lb salmon on an NK28, green/silver/black ladderback.
Around Noon we picked up and ran full speed to the North to may favorite waypoint and started trolling back South. At 1:30, Phil's rod fires and my turn, I'm up--nice 7lb Chinook on a dark colored Hotentott.
That was it for the day. Pulled rods at 2PM.
Pic is Phil and the 5lb salmon.
