Took a solo trip on the bay this morning for a few hours, and decided to go for some green bass instead of the regular brown ones.
At first light and for the first hour or so I had several blowups on a frog, and missed a couple large fish. Once a bit of a breeze started, they seemed to turn on and really started eating it better. Managed about a dozen decent ones, with several in the 4lb range and one nice one just about 5lbs. Even got back to back 3lbers on one patch of pads about 10 across. Sure is fun to watch a frog disappear in a big explosion!

Very nice fish...It's really interesting how a sudden change in wind can turn on the fishing.
I often see that happen with pike and walleye.
