We just about lost the boat and trailer. The current sent the works down river before we even go the boat off. Had a helluva time getting the trailer out as it went off the ramp and was pinned up against the pier.

That's a tricky launch. We have a cottage on Cameron and use it a couple of times a year .

Yep, horrible ramp, only used it once last fall….narrow, awkward angle and an ugly pothole at the top when I was there.

Too bad - I think it’s the only one on Cameron - which is likely a great thing for the lake !

Wow, sounds like a close call and a crappy launch set up.

On the other hand, it sounds like my dream spot for retirement - lawn chair, couple cold ones in a cooler, and watch the action.

Bent, then lost my left trailer guide trying to shoehorn the boat in the trailer against the current.
If fishing Cameron, I'll pay to launch at either Acadia Park (Rosedale) or the trailer park half-way up the western side of Cameron (can't think of the name of it).
It's better than chancing it at the Fenelon launch.

All they need to do is build an armour stone break wall about 30-40’ out and it would be ok
