Myself and 2 buddies did our annual trip to ssic. When we arrived temps had been on the plus side for a few days and lots of slush on the ice. First day fishing was okay we managed 10 walleyes and about the same in perch. The next day fishing was on fire all day starting at 645 am. We finished with about 40 eyes,1 whitefish,8 perch and a 33 inch pike we hooked at 1130pm. We were catching walleye right up til about 10pm. It was slow between 11 am and 3 pm.The last morning we managed another 8 walleyes before we left at 10 30 am.
Great service as usual and good fishing but 0 keepers all were in the 15 to 17 inch range. Will add some pics later. All together we managed about 60 walleyes and lost anoth dozen or so in the hole. The highlight was the big pike.
