Hey..just looking for some advice or helpful hints. I'm heading up to lake superior provincial park in July with fishing on my mind. i'm a walleye guy and know very little about targeting trout. Can anyone enlighten me on what lures to use, any useful info would be appreciated.

i'll be fishing from a canoe and from shore.

Thank you

I’ve fished the park a couple times in early spring but never in the summer. Jigging spoons where thermocline and bottom meet works in most northern lakes. Trolling a small gang troll or wire line rig also works. My favourite lures for lakers are spoons such as Williams,EGB,Cleo’s or thin flutter spoons.
