Hey all for everyone wondering me and some buddies were on Scugog today the bite was slow as usual as Scugog sucks but it's close and wanted out of the house. Ice was great 6-7" everywhere that WE were in the west side but don't take that advice for everywhere on the lake. Cheers and be safe

Good for you scratching the itch! I saw you guys from my back yard and wanted to hike out but I'm waiting for Simcoe to lock up. I was in Beaverton yesterday, the bay to the islands has ice, no idea on how much. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Was a great day out with good guys and we always make sure that if there's no bite the food is always top notch. Seen 2 crappie in the camera, 1 musky and piles of dink perch, caught about a dozen dinks between all 5 of us. Still worth it ... Next week will prob take the sled so I can move around.

Appreciate that! Seagrave here, just north of the mouth of the Non. I’ll be waiting to take the atv out ‘cause dragging my pelican loaded up would kill me.....

Yeah I hear ya I got some rubbery legs today ... I'm just in Kings Bay but now the golf course is closed last 2 years I'm thinking I'm gonna plow a trail through the trees instead of waiting for the river freezing over lol

No kidding, small world. I’m in Kings Bay as well...To Funny! I’ve been looking where to punch a trail. Down looking today when the red Eskimo caught my eye. Real sloppy by the shore, dog loved the mud! 226SC

Was there yesterday. Caught about 8 small bluegill and pumpkinseed. Also my personal smallest crappie about 3" , lost another of good size in the hole.
If somebody relies on Causeway Live Bait, call first. When I was there at 3PM it was closed and did not answer the phone. Saw few pretty big fish come and sniff my plastic when it was almost dark. Never had much luck with plastics for Crappie on ice, could be those few to make my day...
