I just take food and drinks I don't mind having cold.
Snack bars, pizza or a sandwich, can of ginger ale and a liter of water.

I've been sealing things up like chili, soups, stews and even cubed roast beef and gravy in single servings; with a food saver machine's vacuum bags. Heat up a pot of water and throw the bag of whatever in the boiling water; 5 minutes later you've got piping hot meal. Have a bum or potato chips as a side and everyone is happy. I use one of these butane stoves from Princess Auto to heat the water; they come in a hard plastic carrying case and the whole thing only wights approx 4.5lbs.

Dan.

Sounds good, but I understood that butane stoves didn't work very well in the cold. Do you ust use it inside a warm hut?

thx

Bacon and eggs!! Or Johnsonville sausages on weekends.... Neighbours always come over when they start simmering. I bring enough to share.
Eggs... Scramble at home and put into container, just pour into pan when ready.
Thermos is for hot coffee, everything else I cook or warm up on Coleman.
Always leave nuts, jerky, snacks in hut..
Guess that's why I'm fat.
