I haven't heard anything from anyone who has fished with them this year... Are their huts in the same general area as last year? Were you into the fish?

Heading up there this weekend for our annual trip with Fish Bay 11th to 13th. I’m also curious of their location and season opening results. I went back and read a lot of their reports from last year and they are promising! Stayed with Anglers Haven last year and they were great, just looking for variety.

Give the operator a call.. They are usually more then happy to answer your questions to the best of their abilities especially paying customers...
Look forward to your reports...👍

They have had a few great photos of big pike on facebook, but did not mention location or walleye.

Hey guys; we arrived yesterday around 9:30am. The bite was moderate to slow early on, we caught 12 walleye in the 15-17” range, no keepers and 3 perch. As of 4pm not a single bite since. Hoping for a good morning today. How is everyone else doing? Tight lines to all!

Hopefully your fishing some holes outside the hut.
If not get the operator to drill some hole outside the hut... Should help get a few more fish on the ice (maybe)
Lol.. Good luck..

More walleye in the 15-17” range today, one keeper at 18.5” so there will be some walleye on the menu this year! Happy about that. We run a little contest each year, looks like 28 Walleye and 3 Perch so far, along with a couple guys with the penalty point on the mud puppies. Will keep you posted if the pace changes.

Nice! We also run a tourney... 1st walleye, (guaranteed money if you catch) most walleye, biggest walleye and biggest other (no perch or mudpuppies in other) But i like the penalty points for catching mudpuppies... Those guys are too cute to hurt.

Hey I can help you out with some info from my trip. I was there from the 1st-4th.
Fishing was decent, nothing more. We also had a huge temperature swing from -22 on opening day to +1 the next day. The fishing was slower but consistent. If you're looking for big Walleye I got a huge 29.5" 10.4lb fish on opening day, so you most likely be in the same area as this. We got 31 Walleye total, 4 keepers. One at 29.5", 22",19.5" and 19".
ALL fish were walleye, nothing else. Good luck on your trip, they did a good job and will take care of you.

Looks like fun. Love the point system. We just do a “Biggest Fish” trophy. The point system would definitely make it interesting. Might get a few guys outta bed lol. Eh BIGFILTHY?
