Hey guys,
used to go to the west arm of Nippissing for family trips on a yearly basis (summer) to fish for walleyes.

Now that I convinced everyone to take time off their schedules I wanted to ask knowledgable fishermen about walleyes during the early part of June.

We used to take our trips later in the summer but this is our only window of opportunity. I want to make this a memorable trip with some big fish.

any tips are welcome

Cheers!

In my opinion much better time for bigger walleye. Rock humps and shoals. Remember these are the spawners so let the big girls go to fight your family another day

I've gone to the south shore in june and found catching walleye easy nothing huge but lots of eaters and slot fish. Also 2 foot pike were so plentiful they became a nuisance. Don't know if the west arm is the same or not
