Well the countdown is on. BIGFILTHY, myself and 8 or so others are all looking forward to our annual trip to the Nip. Problem is, we're a little worried about our operator because they haven't gotten back to us. Maybe just overreacting but typically they are one of the best operators up there. Shawn and Terra at Idle Tyme have always been great to us. Has anyone heard from or about them? We're hoping they are just really busy trying to get ready for the season opener and just haven't had Tyme (pun intended) to get back to us. Let me know if you've heard anything.

Hey Skunkedagain, I just googled and didn't see anything recent on Idle tymes. I am sure some of the other operators or locals can provide you some info. You can also try Facebook and see if they have an account and if it's active

Thanks nsfisher. BIGFILTHY mentioned the website was taken down and their Facebook page may be shut down also. Hence our concern. Hopefully someone else knows and is kind enough to reply (with good news preferably).

I KNOW FATRAP IS BOOKED AND GOING IN JANUARY AS WE HOOKED UP WITH HIM LAST YEAR (GOOD TIME). HOPEFULLY HE WILL SEE THIS AND HAVE SOME HELPFUL INFO FOR US.

BIGFILTHY....I wouldn't panic just yet.....still 9 days until Open Season on Nipissing and they could be having a Christmas Holiday away before the work starts to get the Huts and Bungalows out.

They also own bear creek cottages so I'm sure they are super busy. Had the same problem contacting them last year for a price. I know a lot of outfits holiday before the season as these guys don't stop for 3 months straight! Hope you hear from them!

HOPEFULLY YOU ARE ALL RIGHT. THEY JUST MIGHT BE REALLY BUSY. I CANT IMAGINE GOING TO ANY OTHER OUTFITTER AS THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN THE ABSOLUTE BEST FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS. IS IT A BAD THING THAT I AM LOOKING MORE FORWARD TO OUR ANNUAL ICE FISHING "TRIP TO THE NIPP" WITH THE BOYS THAN MY FAMILY TRIP TO CUBA IN JANUARY? ******NEWS FLASH******UPDATE******* JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH SHAWN AND ALL IS GOOD. THE WEB-SITE HAS BEEN PIRATED OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AS SHAWN HIMSELF IS HAVING PROBLEMS FIGURING OUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO IT. BUT ALL IS GOOD IN THE ICE FISHING WORLD. IDLE TYME ICE FISHING CAMP IS UP AND RUNNING. ALL SYSTEMS ARE A GO. WE ARE STILL GOOD FOR OUR ANNUAL "TRIP TO THE NIPP". THANKS SHAWN, WE CANT WAIT.
