Has anyone targeted Pike in particular on the lake? I have caught some nice ones in the summer/fall , but would love to get a big Pike through the ice . Tip ups with large minnows/suckers or dead bait? Any tips from anyone who has had some success would be appreciated!

Thanks! What size sucker and did you thread the hook under the skin/ use a single or double treble hook? And, did you fish it near the bottom or midway? Getting pumped! Going up in a couple of weeks!

hey guys You can buy a pike rig at Canadian Tire or any other fishing store. It's a double hook system and the rig is made out of thin wire so no need for a leader. Just rig up 2 minnows and drop your line. Set your line about half way down to the bottom and put your rod on a stand and wait. It's best to put a bell on your rod and when you hear the ring of the bell you better run to your rod. Good luck guys !!! Hope this can be of help.
