This will be my first winter on lake Nipissing , been fishing the north for well over 20 years around Kapuskasing and Hearst area. Couple of quick questions

Hows the water conditions under the ice are they clear or murky.

What 's a good depth to shoot for i usually fished 8 feet to 15 but have gone to the 50 foot range on lake Temagami.

Thanks for any suggestions

HAVE A SAFE & productive season

Nippissing has some color, similar to some of the tannin stained creeks you are used to fishing up north

Generally speaking, depths between 20-35 ft are where you will want to be fishing.

I have family in Hornepayne, good luck to another brother from the North
