Fry Group: Newbies Posts: 27 Member No.: 5065 Joined: December 15, 2013	Hello. I was just wondering if anyone has used the lowrance elite 4x ice fishing version and what you thought about it. Also can you put it on a flasher mode. Any info about this product is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 91 Member No.: 2977 Joined: January 17, 2013	I recently bought the lowrance ppp-18 ( I think thats what its called) ice fishing kit that converts certain lowrance units into ice capable units. The kit came with an ice transducer, the carrying bag with mount, battery, and two tackle trays. I happened to have a lowrance 96x unit around that I put to use. Works great, very happy with the purchase.

The fishing store in woodstock is selling it for 249.99 plus a 100 mail in rebate. It is meant for a boat but the owner at this store rigs it up for ice fishing - all you need is a portable lithum battery. I believe it is not equipped with flasher capability, it does has colour and is considered good quality.
