Although there are no fish to show for it the Elite 4X performed perfectly, in my opinion. Heading to work, so no time now, but later today I will post some screen shots I took, and a copy of the set-up instructions that were provided by Radioworld, they worked perfectly.

So here are some pics from my outing yesterday. Think I'm reading this right, not sure on a few things. Starting with the instructions that were in the box supplied by Radioworld. I pretty much followed them, and then turned sensitivity down from 100 as they suggest as I was getting noise, down to 95 but couldn't always see my lure, and back up to 97 where it seemed to be happy.

Very happy with how I can see the lure on the screen. Here is me and my buddy, I'm jigging the top line, he's right on bottom and in between us we have a two way spreader sitting still. We were exaggerating our jigging motions to see how they looked on the screen.

Because you are ice fishing, the fish will be a constant line, not a hook shape. Thickness and colour will change depending on where they are in relation to your lure. With bottom huggers you will first just notice that the bottom thickness seems to change a bit before the fish lift off. It definately looks like you had a couple in the area and that there was some investigation on your goods.
Glad you are happy with it, hope it helps you get more on the ice!

I also have the Elite 4x and bought the ice kit for it. I am happy with it. All of this info is very useful and thanks to everyone who posted as I used this info before I was a member. I bought a second battery at princess auto for $30 and it lasts for two full days. Getting rid of the tackle boxes is a good idea because if you leave them in there after fishing you risk all of your lures getting rusty.... I keep the boxes in there and just take them out and open the boxes up after fishing (which I would do no matter where I keep the tackle)

Maybe try the ones in the shot I posted above. Worked for me right out of the box. Might adjust your depth scale to match your bottom depth, but pretty much the same.
