Very nice screen shots for sure! Yes you definitely had the fish moving around you! Did you have anyone else around you that you knew of for interference? That is my biggest problem with the unit...I've copied these setting and will definitely give them a try!

No one else around me so no interference. But the instructions suggest switching to 83 kHz if interference is a problem.

So here are some pics from my outing yesterday. Think I'm reading this right, not sure on a few things. Starting with the instructions that were in the box supplied by Radioworld. I pretty much followed them, and then turned sensitivity down from 100 as they suggest as I was getting noise, down to 95 but couldn't always see my lure, and back up to 97 where it seemed to be happy.

Thinking about ice fishing and some of the 'now you see it, now you don't' episodes with my lure/sinker. What I find really odd is that Radioworld says turn 'ice fishing mode' off. Does this make any sense whatsoever??? Why?

Maybe James can shed a bit of light?

Never mind. I'd forgotten that it had already been covered-----

I had to laugh because of the comments from Willhound regarding the "seating' of the unit into it's plastic receptacle.

I went the whole winter with my unit bouncing off all the time for that exact same reason. I didn't push it itn far enough.

Could have been in instructions but not so.

I alos found this unit perplexing first 2-3 times for setups.way too many functions to punch in.

However once dialed in properly, its great

Ha! Yes, please turn 'ice fishing mode' off even if you are indeed ice fishing, which is what I do all the time (summer or winter) with my Elite-5 (literally with the same firmware/settings as Elite-4), including deep water (100 to over 120 feet) ice fishing for laker...

I just ordered an elite 4x chirp in the ice fishing package. I can't wait to set that baby up. Thanks to everyone's input I can skip most of the a## pain.
