Hi Folks:

We were out on the lake late Monday afternoon (yes, it was raining and windy) and we came across a pop-up fish hut blowing around along the SE side of Snake Island.

If anyone happened to have their fish hut blow away and can identify it - I will be happy to return it.

That's all for now, Nancy

That's very nice of you, Nancy!

By the way I read a few posts here that there will be strong wind on the Lake tomorrow (Thursday). But can anyone tell me the accurate direction of the wind tomorrow so I can head to some shoreline spot, and wait to collect a portable hut (or two or three) for free?:-)

I'd put my money on a NW wind tomorrow James, perhaps not as strong as Ralph said yesterday but still pretty stiff. I find Sailflow as good or better than any for wind forecasts.

Drag the box at the bottom over to Thursday.

I just looked at Sailflow, which I was looking at lasr night as well as the weather Network.

The Sailflow "quicklook" is showing winds of 19MPH and gusts to 29MPH.
when you convert to Metric thats 30 to 45 KPH.

Far too strong for what I like to go out in.

I'll stay home and work on my income tax.

Wind forecast for Friday is much lighter, but it calls for snow.
As you can gather, I tend to be a "fair weather" fisherman.
