Last Saturday I went ice fishing to Scugog with my friend. We parked our car in the end of Stephonson, east side. There's a no parking sign in the west side.

After we finished fishing at about 8pm, we just drove home. After had driving about 10 minutes, we washed our windshield, but we found we can never clean the windshield, and we almost hit another car because of very bad vision.

We stopped the car in emergency light on. We found there were a lot of oil on the windshield. Obviously some folks had put those on our car. I called my another friend, who was just back from lake, he told me the same oil on his windshield.

I donnt know what those guys living there are thinking about, I think that is illegal. The road is not private, and there is no no-park sign on that side. What's wrong with those people?

If somebody had accident or injured or dead because of it, they could be the first murder.

For a first post that is something. Pictures of your catch is more the norm.

Not knowing where you live in relation to the area you parked, I would suggest contacting the police and advise them. It can be serious and should be investigated by the authorities.

Next time I should prepare a video camera and upload to YouTube.

not what I suggested but could be malicious damage etc.. Let the proper authorities deal with it.

You mean I should contact port Perry police?

Last time even worse, my friend's four tires were all flatted and broken. He had to call tow service.

That could be a very serious crime if someone were to get injured or killed..

I agree with Bob, should have contacted the police right away.. A few pictures from you and your other friends car would help for evidence.. Youtube/google would only make more money from your experience not help the situation..unless you forward the video to police as well..

Thanks to Bob, Northers, magic and ss, I'm going to report to Duham police.

I called my friend to keep the evidence.

I believe if anyone were killed due to this "criminal mischief" it would then be considered "criminal negligence causing death" known as "involuntary manslaughter" in the USA

I would report it Most likely the Police would already have an idea who it might be. Alot of homeowners(not all) around popular lakes are not happy about ice fishermen and snowmobiles. I'm surprised ( and glad ) that more acts like that don't take place. Glad you were safe and hopefully because of boards like this Fishermen can try to do a little more to be considerate of homeowners and maybe folks we ll see were not all garbage dumping snowmobile screaming people Most are. decent folks out for a day away from the grind

I agree with the consensus here. And for future, have dash cams rolling in both vehicles.
