I Love Trout Opener, What a perfect day!!

For opener I hit up one of my favorite tribes. My buddy and I got to our spot early in the AM but the fish were not easily able to be found so we went to the spot where everyone goes. After going 1-6 I needed a break and some lunch. After we ate we went way up river to a secluded spot and got into some aggressive, hungry fish. I ended the day only landing 1 out of 15 and my buddy went 3 for 11. Even though I lost that many fish I still had such a fun day fighting them. I freaking love trout opener! Worst hook to catch ratio in years lol am I loosing it?? Maybe I'm turning 30 this year after all

They were hitting really weird this opener . I set the hook and it almost felt like nothing was there and then all of sudden you rod is bent with a hot fish running. For some reason it all worked out loll , I layed more fish on the bank this opener compared to last years .

A lot hen's still full with eggs .

Make sure we let these big fish healthy fish swim away to breed !
