Hey Guys,

Went out again today to the Nuke Plat out of Picking to try and catch some more brown's. Got there a little later than anticipated and we launched at 7am.
I was in a boat with 2 buddies but "MichaelAngelo" was out there in his Kayak out fishing every single boat 3-1 including us. The sleek and nimble profile of the Kayak allowed him to get into areas boat would just get swept away. "Tiny Eddies"

A ton of Fresh water Drum and Carp caught. Some monsters and on very odd lure selections. Carp were hitting 4" Bass Magnet Tubes and same with everything else. Radioactive colour seemed to work. I guess they are natural..

Everything we were fishing for was not caught (Rainbows and Brown's) but all other species seemed to be biting.

Caught: Sheephead, Carp, Gizzard Shad, Gobie. Smallmouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Zebra Mussle, Dead Duck Carcass and a blue nike shoe....

Few Photo's.

Mike in his YAK...

Lots of nice fish there.

Too bad you didn't get your target species but looks like you had fun anyway.

Evans, The browns are in between the two outflows...along the rock walls by the sand flats crusing. Try a spinnerbait!

Thanks Seabass.
Yesterday it was kinda rough and the water our there was super stained. People were fishing there and we tried t with nothing. They have likely moved or scattered around right now.
Between this weekend and last weekend conditions are very different.
Frenchmans was 47 yesterday and 52 last week.
Plant temp is consistently 60 to 62

That was a white bass you aren't sure of there Dan. Only place I have ever caught them is that nuke plant. Get the new boat on the 3rd. Think I will be hitting the plant on the 4th Do you launch from the beach on the west side of the bay, one of the marinas or somewhere further away?

Yes I put the ? mark for a friend who was out with me this day .

I said stripe bass and he argued it was Perch lol.

Yes we launched from the west side of French Mans Bay .

Ps,

North winds are the best fishing days out that way .... Fish were just blowing in all over from the main lake into the flow .
