Great day out with Longshank on Lake O ... 5 of us out for the first time big lake rigging, a real bonanza of fish, started the day with a steady catch of steelhead averaging 6 to 8 lbs, then the coho started to bite. These guys started to work the arms a little harder, averaging between 10 - 14 lbs. Add in a couple Chinook and the occasional new york steelhead which were a little more colourful with a pinkish iridescence and we finished our day with 26 fish in total and some really great memories. Longshank is a class act and knows that water like the back of his hand. It was a real pleasure to meet the ole lunker trout in person! Many thanks and we'll be back for sure!!

Sorry buddy ..........I was so tired.....ha ha ha. Hope you forgive me.

You guys were a blast to have on board and yes, we had a high octane day on the lake.

26/36 is good no matter where you go, but typical for about 3 weeks in the "Blue zone" With 5 people on board, I try to go for action rather than chase the big kings.

Phish Head. I look forward to getting you and the gang out there again next season. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and I look forward to getting "on the ice" with you this winter.

Well done PH!! 26/36 is an awesome day on Lake Ontario. Sure is a healthy fishery, I give credit to all the efforts of the many stocking programs around the lake, USA and Canada as well as all the stream rehabilitation work.
Excellent catch! You guys are getting me pumped for the fall salmon and steelhead runs...
