Hi All,

Went fishing today with Sdcaller. We headed out of Wasaga Beach at the mouth of the Nottawasaga River. Flatlined for about an hour, no hits. Then started downrigging in about 45-50 ft of water, no hits. Kept at it and in about 80ft of water, we had our first bite, fish was gone before we really had a chance to feel the head shakes. Trolled deeper and finally in 130ft of water, we hooked into a fish. Fought it to the surface and landed a nice 4lb 5oz lake trout. The fish hit at 100ft on a chartreuse spoon behind a chartreuse flasher. That's it for the day.. At least we didn't skunk. Fish was caught by Sdcaller.
Cheers & Happy Fishing.
Jerry

Beautiful morning on Georgian Bay today. A number of boat out with GTAA club running a one-day tournament. Mixed success with some boats getting skunked with others landing 3 or 4. Largest was 14.5 lb. Unusual number of knock-offs, one caught 2 but chasing 7 knock-offs (?). Winds picked up and swung from the NW about noon making it uncomfortable to work the lines. Most were off about by 1 pm. Lampreys seem to be making a comeback (one will be helping the gardens grow).
