opening weekend, rice lake

well we finally got out fishing . IceFishinGirl and i . 2 weeks after breast cancer surgery,jo out fishes me again . only out for 2.5 hrs on rice lake and the first wally of the season goes back ,measured it 3 time no matter how you held the fish it was still 19.5 inches 1/2 " to big so splash it goes . i have been told 4 times shood cut 1/2" off the tail and kept it . lol. oh well we will be back ..had a blast

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you could have kept that fish. Read the regs again. You can keep up to 19.7" walleye.

Bad news for this fish but good news for future 19.5" fish.

Nice fish though.
